The 2023-2024 National Cheerleading League Finals, organized by the Gymnastics Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the Chinese Trampoline and Acrobatics Association, was held from July 23-27, 2024 at the Gymnasium of Huai'an Sports Center, Jiangsu Province. 186 teams and more than 4,000 athletes from all provinces and cities across the country gathered in Huai'an to present a wonderful cheerleading feast. With strong support from university leaders and various departments, YNAU sent a team of 11 members led by Coach Cui Yaping from the Physical Education Department. They ultimately won first place in four events: Level 1 and Level 4 Group Jazz Compulsory Routines, Duo Jazz Freestyle, and Group Freestyle Dance, as well as fifth place in Duo Pom-Pom Freestyle.

Summarizing their experience and moving forward, YNAU's cheerleading team then traveled to Shandong to participate in the 2024 National Cheerleading League (Zibo Station) competition held from July 28 to 30. They secured championships in all five events: Level 1 and Level 4 Group Jazz Compulsory Routines, Duo Jazz Freestyle, Group Freestyle Dance, and Duo Pom-Pom Freestyle, fully demonstrating the sports spirit of YNAU and the pride and confidence of the competing team members.

YNAU's cheerleading team achieved excellent results in both the National Cheerleading League Finals and the National Cheerleading League (Zibo Station) competition.
