Purposeful Efforts in Multiple Aspects丨Yunnan Arts University provides support for the 2020 Online Forum on Education Cooperation in South & Southeast Asia
Under the sponsorship of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education, the 2020 Online Forum on Education Cooperation in South & Southeast Asia (hereinafter referred to as "Online Forum") was unveiled in Yunnan Haigeng Auditorium on October 20, 2020. As the only design unit and one of the organizers, Yunnan Arts University has shown devotion to the event through purposeful efforts in multiple aspects.
Wholehearted Cooperation - Undertake the Online Exhibition of Asian Higher Fine Arts Education
Aiming at promoting the building of a community of shared future for mankind, enhancing exchanges on the higher fine arts education among Asian countries, and intuitively presenting the status quo of Asian higher fine arts education as well as the professional level and education quality of fine arts of our country, we have undertaken the "Online Exhibition of Asian Higher Fine Arts Education", which is seen as an essential component of the Online Forum. "Friendship, which derives from close contact between the people, holds the key to sound state-to-state relations." Deepening people-to-people exchanges is regarded as an important way to promote mutual understanding, while exchanges in art are of irreplaceable and indispensable significance in people-to-people communication. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the online exhibition organized by the Fine Arts School of Yunnan Arts University has been held through "the Internet and people-to-people exchanges". It is aimed to promote inter-civilization exchanges to promote harmony, inclusiveness and respect for differences.
The time for the online exhibition is from October 20 to November 18, 2020. Then, nearly 300 works from more than 30 colleges and universities of 15 countries, including China, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Myanmar, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Nepal, as well as from nearly 100 outstanding artists, will be exhibited. There is a diversity of themes and performance styles, such as focuses on daily life and environment and life growth, the vibe of reality or surrealism, and more passion for home and nation. Through the images full of the artists' personalized cognition and styles, we can feel imprinted contexts of their countries and nations which become a part of their blood.
Artistic Performance - Organize the Artistic Performance for the Online Forum
To make the atmosphere of the Online Forum more active, the performance teams of teachers and students from the Dance School and the Music School of Yunnan Arts University have brought the Online Forum wonderful artistic performances that presented the diverse cultural resources of different ethnic groups as well as their unique cultural and artistic charms.
The performances were mainly comprised of Yunnan ethnic songs and dances, and yoga and Tai chi performed by students of Yunnan Minzu University. Adopting the representation of virtuality and reality combination, the performances integrated ethnic, art, aesthetic, and epochal elements, and depicted a new picture that ethnic groups in South Asia and Southeast Asia are pursuing a harmoniously coexisting and beautiful life in the context of multi-ethnic cultures.
An Elaborate Promotional Video on Yunnan's Education Opening-up to the Outside World
A team from the Film and TV School of Yunnan Arts University was responsible for the production of the promotional video on Yunnan's education opening-up to the outside world.
According to the requirements of Yunnan Provincial Department of Education, centering on the education opening-up to the outside world, the production team re-integrated the picture and video materials that covered the scope from kindergarten to college, from vocational education to regular higher education, from national education to foreign student education, from studying abroad to studying in China, and from student training to teacher development. Combining the resources and geographical and industrial strengths in Yunnan Province, the team finally produced a high-quality promotional video film that could highlight achievements in Yunnan's education opening-up.
Promote the Image and Shape the Brand - Responsible for the Visual Image Design of the Online Forum
A team of the Design School of Yunnan Arts University was responsible for the overall image design of the Online Forum. The team's work included the logo design of the Online Forum, the design and production of poster foldouts, meeting materials, scene installation of the opening ceremony, and all the applied decoration. In addition, an exhibition of teaching achievements in national first-class undergraduate specialties (related to design) will be held in Yunnan Haigeng Auditorium to present the teaching achievements of Yunnan Arts University's design specialties to the guests.
