The Complutense University of Madrid is a university with a long history, the largest scale, and the most comprehensive range of faculties in Spain. Its art major is among the best in the country. The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, the predecessor of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, was one of the three major art schools in Spain. Renowned artists Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali studied there. In 1975, the school was merged into the Complutense University of Madrid.
This Spain International Master Workshop will play a crucial role in promoting the development of Yunnan Arts University's fine arts and painting major and the cultivation of professionals in oil painting restoration. In the future, both universities will build upon this master workshop and pursue closer cooperation in various aspects such as discipline and major, teacher training, personnel exchanges, and student exchanges. Yunnan Arts University will commit itself to the three-year action plan for high-quality development and the goal of becoming a first-class art school, in a bid to make solid progress in the "Open Education Project" and continue to deepen educational exchange and cooperation with foreign counterparts.
