Chonnam National University 

is a well-known comprehensive research university and a  key participant university of BK21PLUS（Brain Korea 21 Program for Leading Universities & Students） in South Korea. It was established in 1909 with Truth, Creativity and Serviceas its teaching philosophy. The school is located in Gwangju Metropolitan City, the "Cultural Art Center" of South Korea, and is one of the 10 national flagship universities in South Korea. 2020-2021 CWUR World University Rankings indicated that CNU was among the top 500 universities, while it ranked 12th in the CWUR Korean University Rankings, and 4th in an evaluation of the research sector among national universities of Korea. CNU ranked 4th among Korean universities in publication of SCI-level papers.

CNU has gained world-wide reputation in the fields of agriculture, life science, computer science, bio-robotics, engineering and medical Science. Founded in 1982, the University of Suwon is a private comprehensive university in South Korea, located in the capital of Gyeonggi-do: Suwon city.
