In 1999 his painting was awarded the 10 best Phillip Moris Indonesian Art Award, and in 2009-2010 was a nominee in a drawing competition at Kulturni Centar Zrenjanin - Kraljevo, and his video drawing was recorded in the Triennial of Extended Art Media in Belgrade-Serbia.

In 2011 - until now, Nandanggawe founded DrawingClass212, which accommodates young artists with special interests to jointly explore new ideas of art through drawing techniques.
