Arpan Mukherjee

Works of Arpan Mukherjee are based on socio-economic and political issues, narrative in nature and represented in documentary format. His practice is processes based, using handmade photomechanical printmaking and photographic methods of the 19th century.  

He is among the very few artists who work with ‘Historical photography process’ in the country.

Arpan has received BFA & MFA in printmaking and presently teaching as an associate professor in the department of printmaking, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan.

PRASANTA SAHU

Born 1968, Orissa, after completing his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Orissa, pursued his BFAin painting from Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan and MFA in painting from M.S. University, Baroda. His scholarships include Eastern Print Biennale Award 1995, Nationalscholarship from Ministry of Human Resource and Development,  in 1996-98, Nasreen Mohamedi Award in 1999, M.S. University Gold Medal in 2000.
