The musical drama Letter from an Unknown Woman was adapted from the novella of the same name by Austrian novelist and dramatist Stefan Zweig. As it was shown on the stage, the director paid more attention to the imagination, space and vagueness and restructured its core content for a brand-new presentation on the stage. Three performers showed three different stages of the life of an unknown woman. The combination of attractive lines with expressive movements incisively and vividly revealed the affection of the unknown woman to the famous writer Mr. R. From reality to imagination, multiple emotional connotations of this figure were presented. The pianist's improvisation and the ballet at the end of the drama heightened the atmosphere well and left more space for the audience's imagination, pushing the atmosphere to a climax.

It was very creative in terms of director techniques, stage space design, stage performance of performers and the application of "drama + piano+ ballet", allowing it to be highly affirmed by experts present and also applauded by the audience.

In addition, this musical drama was put on at Shanghai University of Electric Power on October 18, 2019, and an exchange was held with students and teachers of the Art Education Center of the university.
